The 2027 edition · As of 6 November 2026

The independent record of safari operators and lodges.

A luxury safari is a once-a-decade purchase made on brochure language: rates on request, terms in PDFs, rankings that don't say how they were made. Safari Ledger scores every operator and lodge on what it publishes and, where African Safari Mag has stayed, on what it is like. Every figure has a source and a date. No company pays to be here.

As of 6 November 2026, Safari Ledger holds 10 operators, 165 lodges and 0 planners on record; none is yet assessed by African Safari Mag, and the highest Record Score is 26 / 30 (Tswalu).
